COPENHAGEN ART CLUB opened the doors for the first time in 1999 in the self-made artist studio of Lars Kraemmer in the South Habour, Copenhagen. The first year, ART CLUB took place each friday. In the years to come the events were held one friday each month or more sporadic. ART CLUB has a long and rich history, leaving a trace of various locations and numerous events. The intention of ART CLUB is to offer a non-censured performance scene and a social network among artistic souls in the Copenhagen underground. ART CLUB operates with volunteers and enjoys no official funding.
